Linde Announces Pricing of $1 Billion Notes

Guildford, UK, August 4, 2020 - Linde plc (NYSE: LIN; FWB: LIN) announced that on August 3, 2020, its wholly-owned subsidiary Praxair, Inc. ("Praxair") priced a public offering of $700 million aggregate principal amount of 1.100% Notes due August 2030 and $300 million aggregate principal amount of 2.000% Notes due August 2050 (collectively, the "Notes"). The offering is expected to close on August 10, 2020, subject to customary closing conditions.

Linde to Build and Operate World's First Hydrogen Refueling Station for Passenger Trains

Guildford, UK, July 28, 2020 - Linde (NYSE: LIN; FWB: LIN) today announced it will start construction of the world's first hydrogen refueling station for passenger trains in Bremervörde, Germany, in September. The construction follows the successful eighteen-month trial of the world's first two hydrogen trains in the region, which was completed earlier this year.

Linde Signs MoU with CNOOC to Jointly Develop China's Hydrogen Energy Industry

Guildford, UK, July 23, 2020 - Linde (NYSE: LIN; FWB: LIN) announced today that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China National Offshore Oil Corporation's (CNOOC) subsidiary, CNOOC Energy Technology & Services, to jointly develop the hydrogen energy industry in China. Together, both companies will explore the option to invest in hydrogen production and filling facilities, and further the use of hydrogen in industrial applications, particularly mobility.

Linde Starts Up Plants to Supply Celanese and Other Customers in the U.S. Gulf Coast

Guildford, UK, July 7, 2020 - Linde (NYSE: LIN; FWB: LIN) today announced it has started up a state-of-the-art hydrogen and carbon monoxide facility in Clear Lake, Texas (TX), as well as a new air separation unit in LaPorte, TX. The plants will supply oxygen, nitrogen and carbon monoxide to Celanese, under a previously announced long-term agreement, and hydrogen to other customers via Linde's U.S. Gulf Coast pipeline system.
