Groundbreaking Ceremony for one of the World’s First Large-Scale Carbon Capture Projects in the Cement Industry- Lengfurt, Germany: Heidelberg Materials and Linde have started construction of one of the world’s first large-scale carbon capture facilities in the cement industry.
- Under the name ‘Capture-to-Use’ (Cap2U), they jointly build, own and operate a state-of-the-art plant for the capture and liquefaction of carbon dioxide.
